Why Online Classes?
Frequently it is challenging to attend court classes due to travel distances, scheduling conflicts, time constraints and other life commitments. These online courses allow you to learn the same tools as our “in-person” classes and in a private, relaxing, convenient, affordable and self-paced environment. It is as simple as reading the material, taking the post-test and receiving your certificate.
Our online courses are ideal for court requirements, businesses, probation departments, human resources, law offices, diversion programs, families, couples and individuals. We are confident that you will find our courses to be of exceptionally high quality.
How It Works
Court Online Classes:
Association for Compassionate Transformation provides a simple classroom environment. The format for our online courses is consistent for all classes. This user friendly environment will allow you to relate all course material with ease. Given that our classes are continuous and self-paced, you can start now – as soon as you enroll!
The following outlines what you will be doing during the online course:
- Reading lesson text – Each lesson contains a comprehensive Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file that you can view, read, save and print. The lesson text provides you with a permanent reference for course materials during the class and after course completion. Special note: In order to view, read, save and print the course materials, you must download Adobe Reader and install it on your computer (if you do not already have this reader).
- Reading and Video supplements – For some lessons, there will be supplemental information that will explain certain concepts and techniques that are beyond the scope of the class. This provides you with additional resources to build upon your existing knowledge.
- Doing practice exercises – In some lessons, you will be requested to engage in a practice exercise to assist you in developing your skills. These assignments are not submitted or graded.
- Post-Test (graded) – At the end of your course you will be asked to complete a post-test. Though it is not a part of the class material, it will ensure your understanding of the course.
Unless defendants are remanded to custody, they are ordered to enroll in a program within a given time frame, and to return to the same court on a specified date at the end of that given time frame with Proof of Enrollment furnished and endorsed by the provider. Association for Compassionate Transformation provides you with Proof of Enrollment to submit to the court.
Upon completion, Association for Compassionate Transformation will provide you a certificate of completion to submit to the court.
