We all desire to be in loving relationships. Love produces joy, peace and compassion. These are emotional energies we all want to experience. Unfortunately, fear of loss or rejection can obstruct our abilities to create and sustain loving and healthy relationships. Instead we find that anxiety and depression occurs when we operate from a place of fear rather than a place of love. When an individual is fearful, they cannot truly experience the infinite depth of love. If someone is fearful they will not experience the depth and breadth of love, because love is blocked by their fear. When we live from a place of love, we live in light; a place where life is illuminated.
When a person is fearful, they depend on their romantic partner to create their happiness. When that relationship feels threatened, desperation and fear will be the result. Deep rooted fears are more often related to the fear of being alone or fear of not being good-enough. These unhealthy fears keep us in unhealthy relationships which reinforce these fears and prevent us from accessing love. Fears can create obsessive/clingy behavior or keep us distant/avoidant. Neither of these polarizations create a healthy authentic connection to love because they originate from a place of insecurity. These insecurities also stunt good relationships from growing.
If the fear of losing your loved one is stronger than the love you have for them, you are living from a fear-based place. All that will manifest from this position is more fear, and that fear will probably bring the relationship to an end. If an individual feels the need to control their romantic partner or the relationship, they are coming from a place of fear. More often than not, fear is the very thing that is pushing the romantic partner away and creating disharmony in the relationship.
Instead of living from a fear-based perspective, adopt a self-love perspective. When we love ourselves and feel self-worth we are able to emanate that love to others. When we live from light, joy, authenticity and love, we connect to others on the same vibration. Instead of focusing on fear we begin to focus on love. Love is a creative and growth enhancing force. It is something to be embraced. First and foremost, it must come from within before it can radiate beautifully in an external fashion.
